State Rep Ferguson Announces Coats for the Cold

State Representative Dennis Ferguson announces his Coats for the Cold annual event to collect and distribute warm coats to the less fortunate in the 32nd District.  Coats will be collected beginning now through Friday, November 21st ONLY, at Clean N Press Express (865-376-5330) in Midtown.  Representative Ferguson believes the program is very important to the community and he is asking for your support to continue the effort.  The coats will be distributed on Sunday, November 30th at Wal-mart in Rockwood beginning at 2 p.m.




Kingston Parks Recieves TRPA Award

Congratulations to Kingston Parks and Recreation and director Rick Ross for being the winner of the 4-Star Renovated Facility for Legion Field.  This award is given by the State of Tennessee Recreation and Parks Association.  This is the second state award recieved under Rick's management of the Parks and Recreation Department.




Christmas Parade Forms Now Available

Continuing Kingston has now made forms available to register for the Kingston Christmas Parade.  It will be held on Monday, December 1st.  For more information, contact JoAnn Knies (376-9476), Tom McNeeley (376-5073), or Martin Cash (548-1520).  The deadline for application is November 21st.  This year's theme is "Merry Christmas".  Click the link above for forms.
