James W. Pinkerton

Mr. Pinkerton and his wife, Wanda moved to Roane County in 2005.  He was born in Nashville, Tennessee and earned his B.E. degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville.  He is registered as a Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Kentucky; and as a Professional Land Surveyor in Tennessee.

Mr. Pinkerton has earned the following recognition:

• Eminent Engineer, Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Society, 2004
• Engineer of the Year, Florida Association of County Engineers and Road Superintendents, 1992
• GRCDA Excellence Award (Division of Solid Waste), 1990
• Engineer of the Year, Tennessee Society of Professional Engineers, 1982
